Our mission is to protect the public by setting standards of practice, qualifications, training and experience to those who represent themselves to the public as social workers and by promoting high standards of professional performance of those engaged in the practice of social work.        
 
The State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Workers is funded from fees collected from social work applicants and licensees. The State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Workers does not receive funds from the State General Fund.

(Our office observes all State of Nevada Holidays)
